How to Play Color Chase

Game Objective

Find and reveal all color groups in the grid by clicking squares that belong to the same color group.

Game Rules

• Click any square to start - it will reveal its color
• Try to find all squares of the same color group
• If you reveal all squares of one color group, they will be permanently locked
• If you click a square of a different color before completing a group:
  • The incomplete color group will be hidden again
  • You'll start working on the new color group

Game Modes

Difficulty Levels

• Easy Mode (Default):
  • 5x5 grid
  • 5 squares per color group
  • Perfect for learning the game
• Hard Mode:
  • 8x8 grid
  • 8 squares per color group
  • 8 different colors to find
  • More challenging gameplay

Hint Mode

• Toggle hint mode to get help finding color groups
• When enabled:
  • Squares from a random color group will be highlighted in dark grey
  • This shows you where NOT to click for your current color group
  • Use these hints to plan your next moves
  • A new hint is shown after each move

Tips

• Try to remember where you saw different colors
• Focus on completing one color group at a time
• Use process of elimination to find remaining squares
• Start with Easy mode to learn the game mechanics
• Use hint mode if you're stuck, but try without it first for more challenge
